LYNCH BBQ TO PROVIDE AWARD-WINNING BARBEQUE LUNCH AT SENATOR JONI ERNST’S ANNUAL ROAST AND RIDE

Lynch BBQ, an award-winning pork processor and barbeque catering business of Lynch Family Companies, will be serving a delicious meal to attendees of Senator Joni Ernst’s annual Roast and Ride at the Iowa State Fairgrounds on June 3, 2023.

Waucoma, Iowa (May 30, 2023) – Lynch BBQ is honored to join Sen. Joni Ernst (R-Iowa) and guests at her annual Roast and Ride event at the Iowa State Fairgrounds on Saturday, June 3. The festivities begin at 10:30 a.m. with a motorcycle ride and conclude with a hog roast (lunch) and rally in the afternoon.

This event welcomes supporters from around the state and will focus on the importance of keeping Iowa’s caucus as the first in the nation and will include guest speakers. Notable guest speakers from previous years’ events include Senator Charles Grassley, Representatives Zach Nunn (R-Iowa), Ashley Hinson (R-Iowa) and Mariannette Miller-Meeks (R-Iowa), and Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee. The Roast and Ride is also a fundraiser for veterans, and this year’s event will benefit the Freedom Foundation of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

“The entire Lynch BBQ team is looking forward to serving an excellent meal to the Iowans and national leaders who will be in attendance at this year’s Roast and Ride hosted by Senator Ernst,” said Gary Lynch, chairman of Lynch Family Companies. “As a veteran myself, I also know how important it is to support local nonprofits like the Freedom Foundation of Cedar Rapids. Being part of an event where proceeds support local veterans makes the experience even more special.”

The Freedom Foundation was formed in 2013 by a group of local military veterans who identified a need for an assistance program for veterans. The organization is a network of “veterans helping veterans,” and provides services including access to a food pantry, recreational activities, assistance for veterans experiencing homelessness, an emergency financial fund and more.
