Job Description
Yard Worker - Cattle
SUMMARY:
Responsible for the safe transport of cattle and the general care of cattle.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Must be capable of regular and predictable attendance.
- Able to work overtime and weekends as needed.
- Able to work holidays as needed.
- General care of feed lot cattle.
- Bedding, feeding, cleaning, sorting
- Load and transport cattle in a safe manner
- General maintenance of buildings and grounds
- Record keeping of livestock
- Performs other duties as needed and/or assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid CDL and clean driving record to be insurable under company guidelines
- Able to operate various farm equipment such as skid steers and tractors
- Humane Handling of Livestock
