Tire Shop Mechanic
Waucoma, IA; Full Time
SUMMARY:
Responsible for diagnosing vehicle problems and accurately prescribing the correct repairs needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Must be capable of regular and predictable attendance
- Able to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Able to work holidays as needed
- Complete vehicle inspection
- Preventative Maintenance Services
- Oil-lube-filter
- Flat repairs
- Headlamps/wiper blades
- Wheel balancing
- Tire rotation
- Brakes and rotors
- Engines and transmissions
- Exhaust systems
- Suspensions systems
- Heating and cooling
- Electrical
- Cleaning and maintaining Service Department and equipment
- Performs other duties as needed and/or assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent communication skills
- Own tools
- Advanced education/trade school beneficial
- Ability to maintain a culture committed to teamwork, support, quality, and dedication
- Mechanical aptitude
