SUMMARY:
The Information Technology Manager will be responsible for overseeing the IT department's daily operations, managing IT projects, and ensuring the stability and efficiency of our technological infrastructure. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of IT systems and processes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leadership and Management:
- Lead and manage the IT team, providing guidance and mentorship.
- Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices to support business objectives.
- Collaborate with senior management to align IT strategies with company goals.
- Availability to work nights and weekends as needed.
- Infrastructure and Operations:
- Oversee the installation, configuration, maintenance, and security of IT hardware and software.
- Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of IT systems and networks.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to optimize service delivery and cost-effectiveness.
- Project Management:
- Plan, execute, and oversee IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope.
- Coordinate with other departments to implement new systems and technologies.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to management.
- Technical Support:
- Provide high-level technical support and troubleshooting for IT issues.
- Ensure timely resolution of support requests and incidents.
- Manage
- helpdesk systems and processes to improve service efficiency.
- Security and Compliance:
- Develop and enforce IT security policies and procedures to protect company data and systems.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field or AA Degree + 5 to 10 years of experience in IT management or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and applications.
- Proven experience in managing IT projects and leading teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to document processes and procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
