HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT

SUMMARY:

The HR Assistant provides administrative support to the Human Resources department and assists in the daily HR operations, including payroll. This role ensures smooth communication within the organization, supports HR processes, and helps maintain employee records while ensuring compliance with company policies and labor regulations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Support the recruitment process, including job postings, screening applicants, scheduling interviews, and coordinating with candidates.
  • Help onboard new employees by preparing documentation, conducting orientations, and organizing training materials.
  • Provide payroll support.
  • Assist with day-to-day HR operations and administrative tasks.
  • Maintain and update employee records in HR databases.
  • Process employment paperwork, including forms and background checks.
  • Address employee inquiries and provide HR-related information.
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
  • Prepare HR reports, letters, and other documentation as requested.
  • Performs other duties as needed and/or assigned
  • Must be capable of regular and predictable attendance
    • Able to work overtime and weekends as needed
    • Able to work holidays as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience in HR or administrative support preferred.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-service mindset.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to demonstrate discretion due to the confidential nature of work
