SUMMARY:
Responsible for the safe transport of cattle and the general care of cattle.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Must be capable of regular and predictable attendance
- Able to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Able to work holidays as needed
- General care of feed lot cattle
- Bedding, feeding, cleaning, sorting
- Load and transport cattle in a safe manner
- General maintenance of buildings and grounds
- Record keeping of livestock
- Performs other duties as needed and/or assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid driver’s license and insurable under company guidelines
- May be required to obtain a CDL
- Maintain certification and follow all TQA Guidelines in the Humane Handling of Livestock
- General Maintenance of grounds, facilities, and equipment
- Alleyways, pens, and chutes
- Vehicles and skid steers
- Mowing and weeding
- Work well with livestock customers and plant personnel
