SUMMARY:

This role is critical in ensuring accurate tracking, documentation, and communication of safety practices across our operations, working with the established Safety Director and team to ensure compliance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Assist with the tracking and maintain compliance records for FMCSA, OSHA, and safety requirements 
  • Monitoring driver logs, safety reports, and required documentation for accuracy and timeliness 
  • Maintain organized filing systems (digital and physical) for safety and compliance records 
  • Communicate with team members to ensure completion of required safety documentation 
  • Support training and educating efforts related to safety procedures and regulatory compliance 
  • Assisting in various tasks and communications so that deadlines for submissions, renewals, and reporting are met 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines 
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook required) 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team 
  • Experience with compliance is appreciated; established training/documentation program available for qualifying candidates.
