Cattle Site Manager – Darlington WI
SUMMARY:
Responsible for the safe transport of cattle and the general care of cattle.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Must be capable of regular and predictable attendance
- Able to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Able to work holidays as needed
- Managing 600-700 herd of backgrounder cattle (300-700#)
- Vaccinating, implanting, treatments
- General maintenance of buildings and grounds
- Record keeping of livestock
- Performs other duties as needed and/or assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Clean driving record to be insurable under company guidelines
- CDL for gooseneck is preferred, but not required
- Able to operate various farm equipment such as skid loader and tractors
- Humane handling of livestock
