SUMMARY:
Responsible for performing major and technically difficult diagnostics, repairs, and overhauls/rebuilds ensuring quality and customer expectations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Must be capable of regular and predictable attendance
- Able to work overtime as needed
- Able to work holidays as needed
- Advanced analytical and repair skills in vehicle maintenance
- Verify vehicle performance by conducting test drives, adjusting controls and systems, hydraulics, troubleshoot electrical problems, identify and determine parts required for repair
- Complete vehicle inspection
- Preventative Maintenance Services
- Oil-lube-filter, flat repairs, headlamps/wiper blades, wheel balancing, tire rotation, brakes and rotors, engines and transmissions, exhaust systems, heating and cooling, electrical
- Specialize in repairing and troubleshooting of major components such as engine, transmissions, and differentials, to include replacing complete assemblies, turbochargers, and fuel system components
- Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings, and other important parts to ensure that they are in proper operating condition
- Knowledge of air brakes
- Maintain a clean working environment
- Performs other duties as needed and/or assigned by Supervisor/Management
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have a valid driver’s license to be covered under company insurance
- Own tools
- Ability to maintain a culture committed to a teamwork, support, quality, and dedication
- Mechanical aptitude
- Able to operate general farm equipment
- Basic Computer knowledge to complete electronic documentation
- Understanding of how to complete general building maintenance
